In this course, you will learn from the hands of artist Mariana Weigand the fundamentals of Cotton Fabric Watercolor, which allow you to take your first steps in this universe, as well as more advanced topics, for those who have already started in the technique and wish to improve their knowledge.

This content is entirely authorial and was developed by her from the numerous workshops she has conducted ahead of her brand Mare à Mão.

It is divided into 4 Modules and a total of 22 chapters, in more than 50 hours of content, to better tracking the student progress. *click on the photos above and see the detailed content of each module.

The first chapters introduce the pillars of watercolor on cotton fabric, how to choose and use the materials, the color wheel and the preparation of a color palette. Other chapters present techniques such as gradient, light and shadow studies, shape composition, layering, creative effects, and many other surprises.

The more advanced modules invite you to dive into some of the all-time favorite themes: world map, nature and foliage, galaxy, beaches, and seabed.

All the concepts are presented in a practical way, applied in exercises and projects that enable the experience and assimilation of the knowledge covered throughout the course.

In a light and fluid way, this workshop offers a solid base of knowledge in Cotton Fabric Watercolor, going far beyond the ready-made formulas of a manual, so that participants can awaken their creativity, paint without fear, and feel free to take their own flights afterwards.
